Alumni Club Scholarships

Alumni club scholarships are merit-based and awarded geographically based on the proximity of an alumni club to the applicant's hometown. The USC Club of the Nation's Capital awards scholarships to students from Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and West Virginia.

Awards range from $1,000 to $4,000 per year. Scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated academic strength, leadership and community involvement, as well as the following criteria:

The application deadline for the 2011 academic year is December 1, 2010.

How To Apply

All incoming, transfer, and returning students are encouraged to apply for alumni club scholarships. Please read all of the application procedures and deadlines carefully before applying. Deadlines have changed so please review the timeline below. Note that prior recipients must reapply for club scholarships each year.

The USC Alumni Club of the Nation's Capital cannot accept scholarship applications directly. All applications must be submitted online to the USC Office of Admission; visit https://alumnigroups.usc.edu/clubs/scholarship_10.php, choose Alumni Club Scholarship, then Washington DC.
