Email Updates
Keep up with the exciting events and opportunities offered by the USC Alumni Club of the Nation's Capital by signing up for the DC Trojans Weekly Update. You can also contribute alumni news and accomplishments, as well as club classifieds, to the newsletter by contacting us our communications chair.
There are two ways to register, based on your relationship with the university:
Alumni
- Log on to the USCAA Online Community and choose UPDATE PROFILE. (You may first have to register* as a member of the Online Community, if you haven't already.)
- Under PERSONAL, please ensure that your Alumni Club affiliation is with The Nation's Capital.
- Select MEMBER SERVICES and click on E-MAIL PREFERENCES. Our e-mails are considered "Club Communications," so make sure that box is checked.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure that the opt-out box is NOT checked. You should begin receiving our e-mails immediately.
* If you have not yet registered for the Online Community, you will need your Alumni Record Number to do so. You can find it on the mailing label of your USC Trojan Family Magazine, the front of your USC Alumni Association Membership Card, or on your latest USConnection e-mail. If you still cannot locate your Alumni Record Number, please go to http://alumni.usc.edu/online/adr.cfm and fill out the request form.
Parents, past students (non-degreed) and friends
- Visit the USCAA Online Community.
- In the upper-right corner of the page, you will see the text “SIGN-UP FOR CLUB UPDATES” with a dropdown menu below it.
- From the dropdown menu select Parent, Past Student, Friend (note: If you are a degree-holding alum, you may select USC Graduate, in which case you will need your Alumni Record Number [as explained above] to register for the Online Community).
- You will be directed to the appropriate site and asked to enter some basic information to complete your registration.
Please note: Before you subscribe to our weekly updates, please add dc@alumnicenter.usc.edu to your safe senders list. We have been informed that due to e-mail filtering, a number of our alumni (particularly those with government e-mail addresses) may not receive our information unless we are designated safe senders.
