A Message From Our President
Thank you for visiting the USC Alumni Club of the Nation’s Capital Web site. Whether you’re new to the area or have made the greater metropolitan DC area your home for quite some time now, I welcome you to explore the site and learn about the many ways to get involved and stay connected with the more than 4,000 Trojans living and working in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland.
We offer a wide variety of events throughout the year ranging from networking breakfasts and receptions on Capitol Hill and speakers series to football viewing parties, cultural outings and philanthropic events. In the past few years, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting the USC football team for season openers against the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech University. As a local alumnus, you are automatically considered a member of our club and can participate in the club free of charge.
While we support local alumni through diverse activities, one of our primary missions is to support current and aspiring USC students from the Washington region and West Virginia through thousands of dollars in financial support through our scholarship programs. We also assist with recruitment efforts and welcome new students each year at our annual SCend Off event.
Currently, we are not offering a membership or benefits program. Continue checking back with us as we’re always thinking of new ways to add value to our members. We offer countless opportunities for you to volunteer with us. We welcome the involvement of Trojans who are interested in organizing events, or in serving on the club board of directors or one of our steering committees. I hope you will join us at an upcoming monthly board meeting to learn about how you can volunteer.
